Allagash Abductions

In Maine there is a town called Allagash. It’s surrounded by lots of woodlands which is traveled often by many sportsmen such as hunters, fisherman and hikers. In 1976 four men two of them brothers, Jack and Jim Weiner and Chuck Rak and Charlie Foltz. I met Charle Foltz at a seminar our local group did our local community college. we later went to dinner with him and he told us of his abduction experience. One thing for sure is he believes that it HAPPENED. He also expressed his opinion that if anyone didn’t believe him he didn’t care. I was impressed with his attitude and it gave me a feeling that what he described was genuine.

As the story goes these four men were fishing in the Allagash Wilderness when they saw a bright light approaching their boat. Charle had a flashlight and tried to get the attention of the craft with an SOS signal. After that the next thing they remembered is being back on shore. Before they left shore, they had started a large fire. When they returned the fire was just smoldering. They had experienced missing time.

Later the four men decided to undergo hypnosis. Under hypnosis what they remembered was they were abducted by aliens and were subject to examinations including sampling of skin and body. What’s interesting is that Charle saw the procedure being performed on Chuck but was completely frozen and could not do anything. This paralysis is common with abductees and permeates the literature. The person who did the hypnosis on the 4 men was Ray Fowler and prominent UFO research. In the 90’s I would travel hundreds of miles every week to visit Ray at his home. He is convinced of the validity of abduction account.
