The Apollo Astranauts have claimed that while on the Moon they don’t remember seeing any stars. Explanations have been put forward for this. Some people claim that if Nasa put stars in the photographs people would be able to tell if the star alignment was correct.
The reasons given by NASA are
- Lunar landscape is so bright using the cameras, that were standard equiptment, did not have the correct exposure settings to take a good lunar landscape photo
- The Stars are too faint
- The light from the sun hitting the surface of the moon is far too bright for Apollo cameras to capture something in the distance like the stars
It just might be me….. but if you look at other Nasa pictures of the sky the stars are totally visible. So…what happened to the stars? Makes you go “Hmm”. Look at the video below and look for the stars…there arn’t any!
